Liking
salmon is one of the most popular foods in Kota Belud Sabah. Just say that your
favorite fish can be found only in Kota Belud district.
The fish is
an orange salted fish that is marinated with salt and produces an orange fish
called Liking fish. Fish used is Talang fish. Talang fish obtained from the sea
will be abandoned first and recently marinated with salt for 1 night or more.
The main condition of Liking fish preparation is, fish should not be affected
by ice. That is, here fish should be fresh @ fresh and not in ice. If the
gutters have been frozen with ice or cooled to the ice, Liking fish fill is
quite hard and tasteless.
How to process
citrus fish is similar to in Peninsular malaysia, which is mackerel. Only in

is sold in big markets of Kota Belud or Tani market every Thursday and weekends
every Sunday in Derah. The price for each Liking fish depends on the size and
the way of preparation.

two types of Liking that are usually sold ie which are placed on pepper and
chilli. There are also fish that are sold in a fish or have been cut.

Liking fish
